Skills
Assessment Workshops (available in French only)
Overview
The Skills Assessment Workshops, or OAC (Outil d’Analyse
de compétences) is a modular approach developed by
the employment services team at CDEC. Its aim is to enable
job searchers to validate their job choice, research the
characteristics of targetted jobs, identify their acquired
and generic skills, determine obstacles to employment, and
to plan the necessary steps toward the attainment of their
objective.
The workshop is presented in a group format running over
5 days, with an additional day-long debriefing session the
following week.
