In the spring of 2000, the CDEC initiated a broad-based Round Table to promote the Cote-des-Neiges neighbourhood and celebrate its distinctive characteristics. The membership of the table is drawn from community groups, local institutions, businesses and religious communities in the neighbourhood.

The CDEC organises and coordinates meetings of this Round Table. Among other priorities, the Table is collaborating on a survey to be launched in the autumn of 2003 which will measure feelings of community, quality of life and residents’ needs, in collaboration with a study team from the Department of Geography at the University of Montreal.

The results of the study will be ready in April 2004.
